The stock headlamps were replaced with a Hella H4 conversion kit. Now instead of replacing the entire headlamp, I just replace the bulb. Not to mention, the lighting is significantly better.

BEFORE:
I finally installed the Hella H4 headlamps. Unfortunately, I didn't take any before pictures because I'm so lousy at photography (I really should just get a digital camera and save myself film and development costs.). Instead, I made up a couple of quick jpgs using my pathetic Paint Shop Pro skills. (Pathetic web mastering, pathetic photography, pathetic PSP, what's next, pathetic driving???)

(Imagine that the light is being projected onto a wall directly in front of the car) As you can see, the headlights appeared like two blobs of light ahead of me. The pattern was diffuse and uneven, and it was kind of hard to adjust the light height because of the blobiness of the light pattern.

AFTER:
In any case, I really like the new beam pattern. Instead of being a fuzzy blob of light projected by the regular Halogen lamps, the new Hellas put out a very uniform light. The light also has a very sharp cutoff, so the lamps were very easy to adjust against a wall. The likelihood of blinding cars ahead of me as well as oncoming traffic is much less now. Not to mention, there's a slight bias in the way that the light is projected, which allows better visibility along the right side of the road. The only thing I need to do now is to get those new Tokico shocks so I don't blind oncoming traffic when I accelerate. :)
